Born in Montevideo in 1944.

Graduated in Architecture at the Facultad de la República in 1974.

In 1975 he founds the studio TANCO ERREA, Architect, which since 1990 turns into TANCO ERREA -GUILLERMO Scorza, Architects.

In 1987 and 1988 acts as Executive Secretary of the technic commission responsible for design and execution of the Papal Altar, on the occasion of the visit of John Paul II to Uruguay.

Between 2001 and 2007 he has been envolved as a teacher at the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Montevideo and the Pre-University Institute (PRE / U).
